Photography Services

Overview

External Affairs is currently reimplementing institutional photography services. Please bookmark this page for future updates, as it’s regularly refreshed with the latest details.

Headshot Photography

EA has established "headshot days" to fill the business need for standardized institutional headshots, particularly for clinical faculty profiles.

Currently, we’re prioritizing clinical providers with urgent business needs as we re-evaluate institutional photography practices and scheduling. While we don’t yet have a timeline for when services will fully resume for all members of the WCM community, we expect to share more information in the new year.

If you believe you have an urgent business need, (e.g., headshots required for WCM clinical websites, conferences, or publications), please contact Mike Yannetelli

Upcoming headshot days:

November 13
December 8

Employees in need of headshots may sign up for a 10-minute time slot through Microsoft Bookings (login required):
Book an Institutional Headshot

External Affairs is covering the cost of these headshots; there are no chargebacks to units at this time.

Please note: These headshot days are intended for individual needs. Any department or program seeking multiple headshots in a short time span (e.g. incoming classes of residents) should contact External Affairs to set up a dedicated day for their unit. Costs for dedicated days will need to be covered by the unit requesting them.

Unit / Event Photography

Units seeking a photographer for their own events, or other departmental functions (e.g. group shots for websites) should reach out to Michael Yannetelli with details of the project. We will provide recommendations of trusted freelancers with expertise in the type of project being requested. Any photographers hired in this fashion would be at the department's expense.

Institutional Photography Repository

Often, departments seek access to existing approved photography of key institutional buildings, people, and themes. External Affairs has been maintaining a repository of photography for these functions for many years, and often fields requests from departments for these needs.

To increase efficiency and access to these resources, we plan to provide self-service access to these assets later in 2025. More information will be provided as the system is ready for access.
