About Us
The Office of External Affairs advances Weill Cornell Medicine as a global academic medical institution, and supports excellence in research, education and patient care, by engaging the public through fundraising, communications, marketing, community relations and advocacy. These functions are led by two major programmatic divisions within External Affairs:
- Development, which includes fundraising, campaign operations, development communications and alumni relations.
- Communications and Public Affairs, which includes institutional publications and communications, editorial coverage and multimedia projects, media relations and social media, enterprise branding and Physician Organization marketing, and Government and Community Affairs.
